9 August - Social Meeting at the Mill on the Exe

Please join us for a social get together on Sunday 9 August. We will be meeting at the Mill on the Exe at around 12:30PM. Current, new and past members are welcome. The regular Sunday meeting will not occur in August.

Please note that there is no formal group meeting in August due to our summer break. However we usually organise a social meeting - details below.

All Exeter Astrology Group sessions are on the second Sunday in the month unless otherwise advised.

13 September 2009: Astro-Diagnosis and the Fixed Stars

Jennie Fernyhough will be talking on astrology and the fixed stars, with a focus on medical issues. Please join us for the first of our new season talks.

27 September 2009: Social Event at The George Meeting House, South Street

8 November 2009: Forecasting for the Year Ahead

We will be welcoming south-west astrologer Chris Mitchell to talk for this session. Chris will be talking about some time-honoured methods of forecasting the year ahead, including seasonal solar ingresses.

13 December 2009: Karmic and Spiritual Astrology

Local group member Debbie Hallett will be leading this session. She will talk about her experiences with karmic and spiritual astrology and its methods.

Please join us for our monthly social get together on at The George on South Street, Exeter. This will be a chance for a Christmas/New Year Gathering. We meet at 5:30PM. Current, new and past members are welcome.

10 January 2010: Outer Planet Cycles

Richard Burch will be sharing insights into the relationships between the outer planets - Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Richard will be looking at the long-term cyclical interactions between the three transpersonal planets of the solar system.

14 February 2010: Jupiter and Uranus: Mavericks of the Zodiac

Ed will be introducing a look at two of the larger-than-life planets in the zodiac - Jupiter: the Greater Benefic, and Uranus: the revolutionary eccentric. This is a light-hearted and entertaining look at some great individuals including Edna Everage and Robin Williams.

Next Meeting - New Hope for a New Age (12 July 2009)

Great changes are afoot in consciousness and social organisation since the entry of Pluto into Capricorn. Ed will be looking at the astrology of these changing times, including the new age of Aquarius.

Social Group - 28 June 2009

The astrology social group will be meeting on Sunday 28 June at the George in South Street. Please come along and join us at 5:30PM for a drink and a meal. We hope to see you there.

14 June 2009 - Next Meeting - Mercury

Our next meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, 14 June. Moragh Mason will be talking on Mercury and its phases. Mercury isn't often covered in detail so this will be a good chance to hear about the smallest planet in the inner solar system.

Please note this meeting is due to start at 2PM.

Social Group - 31 May 2009

The social group will be meeting tomorrow evening at the George in South Street. Please come along and join us at 5:30PM for a drink and a meal. We hope to see you there.

Forthcoming Meetings

Following the AGM, we are planning a new series of meetings for the autumn and beyond. We will have a range of topics and excellent local and visiting speakers. Full details will be posted on the website soon. We hope to have a complete programme planned up until the summer of 2010.
